Predominantly Hydrated Calcium silicates.
It works on the principle of Adsorption.
Calcium Bentonite is the most commonly-found clay.
It comes from volcanic ash.
Absorption
Bentonite clay is great for Deep Pore Cleansing in very Oily, Blackhead-prone skin.
Face masks
We do not recommended Calcium Bentonite Clay to people with very sensitive skin. However, if they must use, then we advise them to conduct a Hypersensitivity Patch Test.
This clay swells when you mix it with water, making it expand.
The expansion causes its molecules to get charged.
This charge helps the clay to pull out toxins from the pores, and cling to the clay magnetically.
